Program
The Michigan Anarchy is a non-profit corporation, organized to assist student athletes in developing life skills through the game of basketball. We recruit highly skilled student athletes with the intent of assisting them to mature into successful adults. Our goal is simple, we want to develop our student athletes on and off the floor in order to give them the best opportunity to succeed. The program is planned and implemented within an atmosphere of confidence so that parents will have the comfort of knowing that they can trust the future of their child with our organization.
Mission
Our primary mission at the Michigan Anarchy is to promote and develop our young student athletes as it relates to the fundamentals of basketball, sportsmanship and athletic competition. This will be achieved through hard work, discipline and competing in high level tournaments throughout the country. Pushing and developing each player to reach their maximum potential while becoming leaders on the floor today, while transforming those skills to become leaders in our communities tomorrow.
Objective
The objective of the Michigan Anarchy is to teach life skills to student athletes interested in pursuing basketball as a means of acquiring a college degree.
Our Style of Play
The foundation of the Michigan Anarchy is a tough and aggressive style of play that highlights the development of the basic fundamentals of the game and adopts a tough hard nosed defense. HARD WORD IS NOT AN OPTION, IT IS A WAY OF LIFE! With an emphasis on WE vs ME, we push our student athletes to "be comfortable in the uncomfortable" in order to reach their maximum potential. This concept demands that the student athlete be in great mental and physical condition. If you don't want to be pushed or you want to be coddled THIS IS NOT THE PROGRAM FOR YOU!
Playing Time
There is no minimum playing time or guarantee that everyone will play in every game. In the event that you need to discuss the student’s playing time please speak with the coaching staff.
The Head Coach makes the final decision concerning playing time.
